We’re looking for a Head of Supply Chain to join our team in Poeldijk, Netherlands.

The Head of Global Supply Chain leads end-to-end operations within Supply Chain, overseeing planning, logistics, and customer service. Acting as a vital link between global strategy and local execution, the role ensures seamless product flow, cost efficiency, and service excellence. Operating in a matrix structure, it drives alignment with global systems while tailoring execution to meet market-specific needs and customer expectations.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage and maintain food safety certifications including BRCGS Food, IFS Broker, GlobalGAP CoC, and Skal.
• Ensure compliance with food legislation, certification requirements, and customer standards.
• Prepare for and coordinate external audits, acting as the main point of contact for auditors and clients.
• Plan, conduct, and report on internal audits, leading the audit committee and communicating findings to management.
• Maintain and continuously improve the quality management system, including all documentation and procedures.
• Lead incident and recall management, including traceability testing and emergency response coordination.
• Develop and execute the residue monitoring plan in collaboration with suppliers and laboratories.
• Oversee the QA team, supporting their professional growth through coaching, training, and development.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and promote a proactive quality and food safety culture.

Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field (required) 
• Master’s degree or equivalent qualification (preferred) 

Professional Experience: 

• Proven experience of progressive supply chain experience, including significant leadership responsibilities 
• Proven success in managing cross-functional supply chain teams across demand planning, logistics, and customer service 
• Experience in FMCG, fresh produce, or perishable goods environments highly desirable 
• Familiarity with ERP systems and global supply chain processes 

Technical & Strategic Skills: 

• Deep understanding of supply chain planning (S&OP), inventory management, logistics, and order fulfilment 
• Strong analytical skills with experience using supply chain data to drive decision-making 
• Competence in process optimisation and change management
• Advanced knowledge of supply chain systems, BI tools, and performance metrics (OTIF, waste, forecast accuracy, etc.)

• Complete fluency in English with Dutch being a huge advantage.
