Hospitality assistant

Job purpose: Provide a hospitable and efficient service to customers in a catering establishment.

Main responsibilities:

Provide customer service, such as greeting guests, taking orders and recommending menu items.

Preparing and serving food and drinks according to the catering establishment's recipes and procedures.

Ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the catering establishment, such as cleaning tables, floors and kitchen equipment.

Settling orders and ensuring proper financial transactions.

Work in a team and communicate with colleagues and supervisors to improve overall efficiency and customer service.

Comply with health and safety regulations of the catering establishment.

Required skills and qualifications:â

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to multitask and work under pressure during busy periods.

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Team spirit and collaborative ability.

Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus but not required.

High school diploma or equivalent.
