About the role

As HR Manager for DSL-01, you will help design and implement the full People & Culture framework for the new Delfzijl plant, building on the preliminary work that’s been done and in close alignment with the Plant Manager, Site Director & Head of People & Culture, from compensation & benefits and working conditions to HR systems, policies, talent acquisition and onboarding, you build the complete HR foundation that enables the plant to start up successfully in 2028.

You partner closely with the DSL management team and SkyNRG’s People & Culture (Talent Acquisition & People Operations) teams to deliver the hiring plan (±80 FTE), ensure operational readiness, and create a strong employee experience. You translate business strategy into a clear People Roadmap, embed compliance and HSE in the way of working, and ensure all DSL people decisions align with SkyNRG’s broader people philosophy and systems.

In short: you are responsible for building the right team, structure and people experience to make the DSL plant operational on schedule and future-proof.

Your profile

  • You are an experienced HR Manager/People Operations leader (minimum 5 years) with strong knowledge of HR within a Dutch and international industrial environment.

  • You have proven experience setting up working conditions, compensation structures, HR systems and ways of working — ideally in a greenfield or scaling environment.

  • You combine business acumen with autonomy: you understand how People strategy drives operational success and confidently translate business goals into pragmatic HR solutions.

  • You are a strong communicator who explains complex topics clearly, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and proactively drive initiatives forward.

  • Fluent in Dutch (native level) and English.
