IFS Functional Consultant -PSO

Nextrlink is seeking a detail -oriented and experienced IFS PSO (Planning, Scheduling, and Optimization) Functional Consultant to drive the implementation, configuration, and optimization of IFS Cloud Service Management and PSO modules. In this role, you will work closely with key stakeholders to translate complex business processes into highly efficient, scalable ERP and scheduling solutions.

The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in IFS PSO capabilities, strong business process acumen in field service management, and a track record of successful full -cycle implementations.

Key Responsibilities

PSO Optimization & Configuration

• Requirements Engineering: Analyze and understand complex business workflows and translate them into robust functional specifications within IFS Cloud and the PSO module.
  

• Module Configuration: Configure, test, and fine -tune IFS PSO alongside associated modules (such as Service Management, Enterprise Asset Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Projects, HR, and CRM) based on industry best practices.
  

• Strategic Alignment: Maximize scheduling efficiency, resource utilization, and SLA compliance utilizing the core mechanics of IFS Planning, Scheduling, and Optimization.
  

Project Execution & Lifecycle Management

• Full Lifecycle Participation: Actively contribute to all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, gap analysis, core system configuration, integration testing, end -user training, and post -go -live support.
  

• Cross -Functional Collaboration: Partner with technical consultants to ensure seamless integration between IFS Cloud, PSO, and other ancillary or third -party systems within the enterprise landscape.
  

• Workshops & Demos: Lead interactive workshops and conduct detailed functional demonstrations for business leaders and key stakeholders.
  

Documentation, Support & Evolution

• Knowledge Transfer: Create and maintain pristine system documentation, user manuals, process flows, and targeted training materials.
  

• Hypercare & Support: Serve as the primary liaison between business units and technical teams, providing premium end -user support, swift issue resolution, and proactive optimization recommendations.
  

• Future -Proofing: Stay at the forefront of the IFS roadmap, evaluating new IFS Cloud and PSO feature releases to advise the organization on continuous improvement opportunities.
  

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• 5+ years of total experience in ERP consulting, with a minimum of 3 years focused explicitly on IFS Applications/IFS Cloud and IFS PSO.
  

• Proven experience navigating at least 2 full -cycle implementations involving both IFS Cloud and the PSO engine.
  

• Field Service Mastery: Exceptional, foundational knowledge of business processes related to field service management, workforce scheduling, and asset -heavy routing.
  

• Strong peripheral understanding of core enterprise business processes (Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Project Management).
  

Language & Industry Preferences

• Language: Full professional proficiency in both Dutch and English (written and verbal) is required.
  

• Industry Context: Prior consulting or operational experience within the Utilities industry is highly preferred.
  

Education & Certifications (Preferred)

• IFS Certified Functional Consultant credentials preferred.
  

• Familiarity with structured Project Management frameworks or Agile/Scrum methodologies.
