Established in 2016, the Greek entity Arηs Developments Hellas aims to extend Arηs Group activities dedicated to the European market providing high-quality services in Software Development, covering the entire application development lifecycle: starting with user requirements, business process redesign and specifications, to continue with development, testing and application maintenance.

Job Purpose

The ICT Infrastructure Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level ICT infrastructure systems, focusing on high availability, security, and scalability. The role requires expertise in architecture design, data centres, networking, storage, and disaster recovery, in alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• Education level aligned with the role's category and level as defined by relevant frameworks or tender requirements.

Language Skills

• Working knowledge of English at B2 level or higher (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

Professional Experience

Mandatory:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an ICT Infrastructure Architecture role.

• At least 5 years of experience in three or more of the following areas:

  • Data Centre Infrastructure Design

  • Network Design

  • Enterprise Storage Design

  • Backup or Archiving Design

  • Disaster Recovery Design

• Participation in a minimum of five projects related to the areas listed above.

Mandatory:

• Good knowledge of:

  • Datacentre, Campus, and Metro Networking, both software-defined and traditional, using declarative or imperative approaches.

  • Data Network Architectures, protocols and standards, including LAN, WAN, Wireless, VPN, and public networks, as well as remote access technologies.

  • Datacentre Architecture, including server virtualization, containerization, enterprise operating systems, block storage, and backup & restore solutions.

  • Enterprise-Class Storage Solutions: Block, File & Object storage, including FCP, SMB, and NFS protocols.

  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Solutions.

Desirable:

• Good knowledge of Archimate or similar enterprise architecture modelling frameworks.

• Good knowledge of Cloud Computing platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).

• Good knowledge of Information Security, Cryptography, Forensic IT, and TEMPEST techniques.

• Good knowledge of Firewalling, Data Diodes, Observability, and SIEM/SOC solutions.

• Good knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Other Requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

• Analytical thinking with excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Experience working in structured environments or with public sector entities is an advantage.
