Interim Manager Maintenance Labs

Location: Petten, Noord Holland

Hours per week: 40 hours

Contract: 6 months ZZP

Responsible for the maintenance policy, reliability, and safe operation of nuclear installations within Labs. Lead approximately 35 employees across Work Preparation, E&W, the manipulator workshop, and Housekeeping. Oversee maintenance planning, budgets, KPIs, inspections, and improvements to ensure operational continuity, safety, and reliability. Report to the Labs Manager and be part of the Labs management team.

Responsibilities:

Managing the Maintenance department responsible for the safe operation and utilization of the installations.

Determining the priority of work activities to ensure the reliability, availability, and safety of the installations.

Evaluating and optimizing the maintenance processes and procedures within the department, with attention to aspects related to the aging of the installation. Identifying, formulating, and initiating opportunities for improvements in this regard.

Monitoring, directing, and supervising the progress and quality of maintenance work in the installation.

Managing the technical and financial resources required for the execution of the work.

Directing, inspiring, developing, coaching, and evaluating employees within their own department, in line with the vision on leadership and the communication of the strategy.

Stimulating and facilitating the development and sharing of professional knowledge and expertise among employees.

Developing and implementing initiatives to enhance these.

Requirements:

Technical education at HBO (higher professional education) level, with knowledge and experience in Maintenance.

Coaching leadership, a proactive attitude, and excellent social skills are keywords associated with your way of working.

You are also decisive, flexible, and report clearly in both spoken and written Dutch and English.

Leadership competencies.

Relevant experience in maintenance management.

Work experience in or with an organization with nuclear activities is a plus.

Willing to complete the necessary training / courses.
