Job Description - IT Auditor

Noord Global are delighted to be working in partnership with a global consumer business in the Randstad area, looking to hire an experienced IT/tech professional for their Internal Audit team.

The Role

As a Senior IT Auditor, you’ll deliver independent assurance and insight across key IT and cybersecurity areas. You’ll assess how effectively the business manages technology risk, supports innovation securely, and complies with global standards - all within a fast -moving, digital, consumer -focused environment.

You will be responsible for:
  • Leading or supporting end -to -end IT and cybersecurity audits, covering infrastructure, cloud, applications, and emerging tech
  • Evaluating technology control design and operating effectiveness against frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT, and SOX
  • Translating complex technical issues into clear, business -focused insights for management
  • Partnering with IT, Cybersecurity, and Risk teams to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
  • Contributing to risk assessments, data analytics, and continuous auditing initiatives that drive smarter assurance
About you

You’re curious, analytical, and able to see the bigger picture behind the technology. Whether you’re an IT auditor looking for international exposure or a tech/cyber consultant ready to move into a more strategic assurance role, this position offers the perfect bridge.

Preferred background:
  • 4–8 years in IT audit, technology risk, or cybersecurity consulting (internal or external)
  • Strong understanding of IT general controls, cyber frameworks, and risk management principles
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills — able to explain technical issues clearly to non -technical audiences
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC) are a strong plus
  • A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for continuous learning
