We are looking for an IT systems engineer to join our team in Amsterdam!
In this role you will take full ownership of our internal IT environment. You will be the go-to person for all things IT, from setting up team devices and optimizing our SaaS landscape to keeping our office network running flawlessly. This is not just a ticket-closing job, you will collaborate closely with multiple teams such as Finance, Security and People, working in a financial tech environment. This also means you will play a crucial role in keeping our company secure, efficient, and connected.
Are you a highly reliable and independent IT professional looking to work in a fast-paced environment? Someone who excels at prioritizing, has strong communicative and collaborative skills, and is adaptable to new challenges? Then we are looking for you!
As part of a growing organization, you will own Silverflow’s IT operations:
Users Lifecycle Management: Own the end-to-end onboarding and off-boarding process. Manage user identities, permissions, and regular access reviews across tools like Okta and Google Workspace.
Device & MDM Management: Manage and troubleshoot Apple macOS devices using our MDM platform (handling blueprints, patching, and updates).
IT Support & Operations: Provide first-line support (onsite and remote), manage software licenses, and help collect evidence for compliance audits.
Office Network: Maintain our network infrastructure, including switches, access points, security gateways, VLAN segmentation, and 802.1x authentication.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively find ways to automate repetitive tasks and explore new software features to make our workflows better.
No two days are the same, but here is what a possible day could look like:
Keeping us moving: You might start by setting up a new starter. Later, you'll help a colleague troubleshoot a tricky software issue or fix a meeting room setup before an important meeting.
Security & Organization: You will collaborate with the Security team to review access permissions, making sure we stick to the principle of least-privilege. You might also check in on our hardware inventory and coordinate with Finance to order new equipment.
Network & Automation: You could spend time optimizing our office network-tweaking VLAN segmentations. And of course, if you find a repetitive task from your day, think of ways you could automate it for the future!
