Global Benefits Management (GBM) allows multinational organizations to manage their insured employee benefits around the world more effectively. The Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB) global GBM solution delivers everything clients need when it comes to local broking renewals, global co-ordination, technology, governance and consulting.

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager working for the GBM solution.

Working closely with a Client Manager, the purpose of the role is to provide operational and analytic support in respect of the management of GBM arrangements, policy renewals and ad hoc tasks to internal and external parties.

We will rely on you to:

  • Support with the implementation and on-going management of a portfolio of clients
  • Ensure key activities are completed and internal / external parties are aligned
  • Ensure GBM Rules of the Road (governance document) are adhered to by local brokers
  • Provide renewal directions / compile project timelines for local brokers and clients
  • Outline data / reporting expectations to local brokers and clients
  • Maintain internal policy tracking and inventory platforms and support with the management of benefit platforms, where required
  • Partner with Centre of excellence for operational support
  • Peer review tasks completed by Centre of Excellence
  • Support with Local broker development and training
  • Support with sales opportunities and demonstration of policy tracking platform
  • Manage delivery and materials to the clients, present results during the client meetings
  • This role is based in the Netherlands and offers flexible working with the expectation to be in the office twice/three per week, as required.

    What you need to have

    This position would suit an individual who has shown exceptionally strong organizational and co-ordination skills, who is comfortable working within a client-facing role and would thrive in a position where the culture is very collaborative.

    A previous experience in the Insurance or Employee Benefits sectors is a plus but not a must-have. Within our team, we are thrilled to welcome a wide range of profiles as soon as there is a hunger for global project management and the following skills are respected:

  • Exceptional strong organizational and co-ordination skills
  • Good analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to see the big picture
  • Ability to interact & drive priorities with very senior stakeholder management into a global and matrice context
  • 0-2 years experience
  • Quality conscious and committed to deadlines
  • Experience in process building, best practices and/or efficiency projects
  • Comfortable working within a client-facing role
  • Being a facilitator and problem solver for our multiple stakeholders
  • Strong teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong oral, written communication, excellent inter-personal skills and presentation skills
  • Excellent English, another language/s is a plus.
  • Proficient with MS PowerPoint and Excel
