• You develop a future-oriented operations strategy together with the client and translate strategic challenges into concrete improvement initiatives.
• You analyze core processes, operating models, and the broader ecosystem to identify into smart, tailored solutions for banks.
• You design and implement intelligent, data-driven, and technology-driven solutions – such as automation and AI – to sustainably improve performance.
• You present insights and recommendations clearly and convincingly, and facilitate work sessions and interviews.
• You organize internal meetings and projects, and support broader initiatives to further develop the team.

You are, by nature,  solution-oriented with a proactive attitude and you communicate ideas effectively that are problem-solving. But more importantly, you bring your own qualities, perspective on the world, and personality with you. Furthermore, as a Junior Consultant, you have:

• A Master's degree with good academic results;
• Engaged in extracurricular activities or gained relevant educational experiences within a student, study, or sports association;
• An interest in consultancy and the banking sector, demonstrated through your studies, internships, and/or work experience;
• Affinity with and/or interest in topics such as process optimization, cost transformations, innovative technologies (such as AI and automation), and operational transformations;
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.

As a Junior Consultant, you will work in a multidisciplinary team at Deloitte to deliver value to banks throughout the entire lifecycle of transformations, and in shaping their digital future. This begins with defining an operational strategy and extends to (re)designing, optimizing, and implementing the operating model and core processes. With a strategic perspective and a focus on (digital) technologies, you will contribute to defining future-proof solutions that enable our clients to operate more efficiently, customer-focused, and sustainably.
