Junior Financial Controller

As a Junior Financial Controller you support our corporate finance team with accurate financial reporting and compliance. You ensure timely processing of financial data and contribute to the integrity of our financial statements. In this role you are primarily responsible and the key contact for three Holding administrations (entities). You’ll be part of a team of four, working closely with and reporting directly to the Finance Manager.

This is what you bring to the team

• A completed MBO 4+ or HBO degree in Finance or Accounting

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role

• Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS) and hands-on experience with VAT declarations

• Familiarity with financial/ERP systems and reporting tools

• Strong communication skills in both English and Dutch

• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Integrity and a professional attitude

Your daily responsibilities include

• Responsible for accurate financial reporting of the three Dutch Holding entities

• Prepare and review monthly journal entries including accruals

• Prepare balance sheet and P&L specifications for audit and internal review

• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules

• Support treasury with interest calculations and cash flow reporting

• Responsible for intercompany billing and reconciliation

• Provide back-up support for Accounts Payable

• Prepare monthly VAT and  CBS filings 

• Participate in process improvement initiatives
