For our Corporate Legal team in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Junior Legal Counsel to support a wide range of legal and compliance tasks. This position at Marktlink offers a unique opportunity to gain experience across various legal fields. As a Junior Legal Counsel, you will take on a supportive and administrative role as well as an independent role, where you will be involved in a variety of tasks and projects related to the day-to-day operations, the expansion in the European market, general compliance and KYC, policies, and corporate housekeeping.

Your responsibilities

Supporting the legal counsel with day-to-day operations, communications and research.
Developing various policies regarding legal processes and compliance.
Working on the expansion of the company in various European countries.
Handling pre-litigation work, such as notices of default.
Negotiating and reviewing contracts including general terms & conditions.
Performing compliance checks, handling KYC-requests.
Building and expanding the legal know-how database
Participating in various legal projects, aligned with your interests across various departments of the company such as HR, Marketing, Finance, IT & Facility.

Your profile

A degree in law from a university of applied sciences (HBO) or academic (WO) level.
0-2 years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge of and an interest in corporate law & contractual law is required. Knowledge of Labor law, IP and/or Privacy is considered a bonus.
Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written. More languages are preferable
Enthusiastic, analytical and detail oriented.
