The Mission

Monday Merch is building a faster, smarter way for companies to create branded merchandise. We combine a premium customer experience with the operational muscle needed to source, produce, and deliver at scale.

We don’t view AI as a side experiment; we view it as the engine that makes our operations lean and scalable. We are looking for a data-driven graduate to join us in Rotterdam. Your goal is to bridge the gap between business operations and technology—turning messy "real world" information (emails, supplier files, and logistics notes) into smart, automated systems that help our team move faster.

What you’ll do

• Identify Business Bottlenecks: Analyze how our sales, finance, and warehouse teams work to find "high-leverage" areas where AI can save time and increase accuracy.

• Translate Data into Action: Turn messy inputs like PDFs, supplier spreadsheets, and order notes into structured data that our systems can actually use.

• Build Smart Solutions: Prototype AI assistants and internal tools. You aren't just "chatting" with AI; you’re designing the logic and the safety checks to ensure the output is professional and reliable.

• Bridge the Tech Gap: Work as the link between our operational teams and the tech department to turn your successful prototypes into permanent tools used by the whole company.

• Measure What Matters: Track how well your automations are performing. Are they saving hours? Are they accurate? You’ll use data to prove your impact and keep improving.

Who you are

• Business-Analytical Background: You likely studied Business Analytics, Data Science for Business, or Supply Chain Management. You understand how a business runs, but you prefer solving problems with data rather than just slides.

• A "Builder" Mindset: You aren't afraid to get your hands dirty with tools. Whether it's a complex Excel model, a Python script, or a Zapier workflow, you enjoy building things that actually work.

• Data-Fluent: You know that "garbage in equals garbage out." You are obsessed with data quality and making sure information is handled correctly.

• Pragmatic & Fast: You prefer a "Version 1" that works today over a perfect research paper that never gets finished. You are driven by seeing your work used in the real world.

• Communicator: You can explain a technical solution to a non-technical colleague in a way that makes sense to them.

Your Toolkit

We don't expect you to be a Master Developer, but you should be comfortable (or eager to become an expert) in:

• AI Tools: ChatGPT, Claude, and understanding how to use their APIs.

• Automation & Data: Tools like Make.com, Zapier, or Airtable.

• Foundational Tech: Basic Python (for data tasks) and SQL are very helpful. If you can navigate a spreadsheet and an API, you’ll thrive here.
