Due to significant commercial growth in this sector, WSP Power and Energy is seeking to enhance the expertise of our Civil Engineering Department We are currently looking for an Junior Overhead Line Engineer based in Arnhem.

In this role, you will join a multidisciplinary team that embodies our company's core values: solidarity, a passion for large-scale and complex projects, and a spirit of innovation and conviviality.

YOUR NEW ROLE, WHATS INVOLVED?

We are looking for an early careers professional to work within our Power and Energy department. In this role, you will be responsible for the engineering and design of overhead lines and interface structures that connect with substations.

• Assist in designing overhead lines and substation interfaces.


• Perform calculations and analysis for line loading's and conductor sizing.


• Prepare technical reports, design drawings, and documentation.


• Collaborate with senior engineers to solve design challenges.


• Support project planning, construction, and installation phases.


• Continuously develop your technical skills and knowledge

YOUR TEAM

Working within our dynamic Power and Energy team with a wider team of 30. You will be collaborating with several senior colleagues to support on the design and development of complex overhead line projects. It is a proactive and diverse team that is focussed on collaboration. You will be working on some interesting projects across the national and European space.

WHAT IF IT WAS YOU?

• HBO/Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a Similar Qualification


• Looking for a highly motivated early career professional looking to take their first career steps within a global organisation.


• Some experience with Auto CAD/Civil 3D


• Good technical skillset and an interest in improving this.


• Must be based in the Netherlands already. We can not consider relocating candidates for this role.

2. HR/Manager Interview: You will meet with our TA team and the department manager to assess your technical and cultural skills.


3. Interview with the Business Unit Director: A meeting with the Business Unit Director to discuss your potential role and our strategic vision.
