De rol:

Als Research Executive bij Kantar maak je deel uit van een enthousiast team dat zich bezighoudt met grote (internationale) klanten – zoals banken en verzekeraars, levensmiddelenconcerns, bierbrouwers, frisdrankproducenten, supermarktconcerns, autofabrikanten en diverse andere marktleidende bedrijven – en hen helpt bij het verkrijgen van inzichten en leveren van advies waarmee zij hun klantbeleving verbeteren.

In deze rol onderhoud je zelfstandig relaties met klanten, vertaal je hun vragen naar een adequate onderzoeksaanpak en vervolgens de onderzoeksdata naar voor de klant relevante acties en adviezen. Aangezien veel van onze klanten internationale bedrijven zijn, verloopt de communicatie vaak in het Engels.

Wat ga je doen:

• Je bent eerste aanspreekpunt voor de klant voor jouw projecten.
• Je vertaalt (samen met anderen) vraagstukken van de klant naar een passende onderzoeksaanpak.
• Je zet zelfstandig kwantitatief onderzoek op, in samenwerking met onze interne en externe projectmanagers.
• Je bewaakt deadlines, projectvoortgang en weet flexibel in te springen op spoedverzoeken.
• Je analyseert en interpreteert de onderzoeksresultaten en zet deze om in strategische adviezen.
• Je presenteert de resultaten aan de klant en weet impact te maken met onze inzichten.
• Je houdt de financiële/commerciële resultaten van je projecten in de gaten en stuurt deze bij waar nodig.
• Je bouwt een relatie op met de klant door middel van dagelijkse interactie en bent in staat kansen te herkennen waarbij Kantar de klant verder kan ondersteunen.

Wat wij van jou verwachten:

• Je hebt een afgeronde HBO of academische opleiding.
• Je hebt bij voorkeur al enige ervaring op het gebied van marktonderzoek.
• Je wordt enthousiast van klanten helpen en bent geïnteresseerd in hoe grote organisaties klantgerichter kunnen worden.
• Je bent proactief, assertief en klantgericht.
• Je bent in staat om goed onder tijdsdruk te werken.
• Je hebt uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden en een goede beheersing van de Engelse taal (mondeling en schriftelijk).
• Je vindt het leuk om presentaties te geven.
• Je kunt goed samenwerken.
• Je houdt van cijfers en vindt het leuk om bezig te zijn met statistische analyses.

The Role

As a Research Executive at Kantar, you will be part of an enthusiastic team working with major (international) clients — including banks, insurance companies, food companies, breweries, soft drink manufacturers, supermarket chains, car manufacturers, and various other market-leading organizations. You will help them gain insights and provide advice that improves their customer experience.

In this role, you independently maintain client relationships, translate their questions into an appropriate research approach, and turn research data into relevant actions and advice. Since many of our clients are international, communication often takes place in English.

What You Will Do

• You are the primary point of contact for clients on your projects.
• You translate (together with others) client questions into a suitable research methodology.
• You set up quantitative research independently, in collaboration with our internal and external project managers.
• You monitor deadlines, project progress, and handle urgent requests flexibly.
• You analyze and interpret research results and translate them into strategic recommendations.
• You present results to clients and create impact with our insights.
• You keep an eye on the financial/commercial performance of your projects and adjust where needed.
• You build strong client relationships through daily interactions and can identify opportunities where Kantar can further support the client.

What We Expect From You

• You have completed an academic degree.
• Preferably, you already have some experience in market research.
• You are enthusiastic about helping clients and are interested in how large organizations can become more customer-oriented.
• You are proactive, assertive, and customer-focused.
• You can perform well under time pressure.
• You have excellent communication skills and a strong command of English (spoken and written).
• You enjoy giving presentations.
• You are a good team player.
• You like working with numbers and enjoy performing statistical analyses.
