Technical tasks:
Independently performing analyses for which one is trained, according to established guidelines, including:
• Collecting data;
• Assessing the collected data;
• Sorting and collecting test samples;
• Checking whether the samples meet the standards;
• Processing the samples according to the specified procedures;
• Recording the results on the lab cards and ensuring that the entries are complete and consistent;
• Drawing conclusions based on own findings;
• Reporting irregularities or other relevant information to the (Assistant) Laboratory Manager;
• Ensuring proper shift handover to the next team;
• At the discretion of the (Assistant) Laboratory Manager, tasks may be assigned in the areas of quality assurance, special analyses, emergency response, replacement of analysts, and other related tasks;
• Following the workflow/procedures related to equipment, reading the instructions and using them as a guideline;
• Ensuring the correct use of the workspace and equipment (good housekeeping).
• Adhering to the rules, procedures, and guidelines applicable within the organization;
• Executing assignments, instructions, and agreements;
• Making suggestions to the (Assistant) Laboratory Manager for improving the performance of oneself, the department, and/or the company;
• Maintaining up-to-date know-how;
• Maintaining order and cleanliness in the laboratory.
• MLO/HLO degree in Analytical Chemistry;
• Basic Safety VCA;
• Knowledge of the English language, spoken and written.
• Collegiality;
• Conducts themselves with colleagues and third parties in a professional and businesslike manner;
• Committed;
• Service-oriented.
• Work may take place during daytime hours as well as in shift work;
• Able to work quickly, accurately, and efficiently;
• Every employee shares responsibility for order and cleanliness in the workplace;
• Handles all obtained information confidentially.
