Our client is a multinational company looking for a highly motivated and experienced Emulsion Polymer Chemist to join their R&D team in Limburg, Belgium.

Our client is the world leader of Specialty Coatings and is looking for a candidate who can bring their expertise in emulsion polymerization to design and develop next-generation emulsion polymers for coatings, sealants, and adhesives applications.

Responsibilities:

– Design and develop emulsion polymers for coatings, sealants, and adhesives applications

– Execute experimental development of new emulsion polymers from early concept to commercialization

– Collaborate within the R&D team, globally

– Formulation of next-generation emulsion polymers

– Present data at internal and external meetings

Requirements:

– Strong knowledge of emulsion polymer synthesis

– Structure-property understanding for a variety of coatings, sealant and adhesive applications

– Innovation and creative problem-solving skills

– Collaboration within the R&D team

– Proficiency with analytical and mechanical characterization of emulsion polymers

– Project planning skills

– Fluency in English. Excellent oral and written communication skills
