Lead Engineer E&I

Are you ready to lead challenging projects and contribute to innovative solutions? As a Lead Engineer E&I within our Industrial Projects department at VIRO in Echt, you will be at the forefront of designing and engineering cutting-edge electrical installations and systems.

Your Role

As a Lead Engineer E&I, you bear responsibility for the engineering and technical development of electrical and instrumentation systems for a variety of industrial projects. Your ability to collaborate and coordinate is key, as you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including Hardware Engineers, Software Engineers, Preparatory Planners, Project Controllers, and Project Managers. Together, you ensure the successful design, development, and implementation of both new construction and renovation projects.

In this pivotal role, you will:

• Lead the engineering process, ensuring projects meet technical specifications, deadlines, and quality standards

• Act as the technical point of contact, both internally and externally, for all E&I-related matters

• Collaborate with diverse teams to develop innovative solutions for our clients in sectors such as (petro)chemicals, food processing, energy, and water management

• Guide and mentor engineers within the team, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

• Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and standards in the field of electrical engineering and instrumentation
