About the role

We are looking for an agile and proactive Export & Import Lead to manage complex international flows of goods, documentation and compliance across multiple regions. You will oversee high‑volume export shipments to the US, UK and APMEA, while coordinating imports from global suppliers and other Kerry sites.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with Account Directors, Customer Care, the Export team, site planners and transportation partners. You will also act as a key point of contact for customs brokers and regulatory bodies, ensuring that all activities meet global compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• 
  

  Export oversight — Manage all export processes for shipments to the US, UK, APMEA and other global destinations.

  
  


• 
  

  Import coordination — Oversee inbound flows of Propionic Acid, traded goods and raw materials from global suppliers and internal Kerry locations.

  
  


• 
  

  Regulatory compliance — Ensure adherence to regional and country‑specific regulations, documentation standards and customs requirements.

  
  


• 
  

  Cross‑functional collaboration — Work closely with Account Directors, Customer Care, Export teams, planners and transportation teams.

  
  


• 
  

  Training & capability building — Lead and support training initiatives related to export/import processes, compliance and system usage.

  
  


• 
  

  Continuous improvement — Identify opportunities to enhance processes, documentation flow and operational efficiency.

  
  


• 
  

  ERP data accuracy — Maintain accurate data in SAP or equivalent ERP systems, ensuring high‑quality transactional execution.

  
  


• 
  

  External stakeholder management — Serve as a key point of contact for customs brokers, logistics partners and regulatory authorities.

  
  

Qualifications and skills

• 
  

  Minimum 2 years of experience in export/import operations (any country).

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of global import/export requirements, including US, UK and APMEA markets.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to manage high volumes of orders and documentation with accuracy and speed.

  
  


• 
  

  Effective communicator and collaborator, able to coordinate and lead cross‑functional initiatives.

  
  


• 
  

  Comfortable with direct communication, proactive problem‑solving and escalating issues when needed.

  
  


• 
  

  Solid understanding of stakeholder management in a complex operational environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum 12 months of experience with SAP or an equivalent ERP system.

  Dutch language is not required.

  Preference for candidates living in the Netherlands due to export documentation handling requirements.
