Waldom Electronics is looking for a skilled Logistics Specialist to join our growing team! 

About The Role

As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting and optimizing our inbound and outbound logistics operations in coordination with our third-party logistics (3PL) partner. You’ll contribute to cost-effective transportation, ensure trade compliance, and collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to keep our global supply chain moving smoothly. 

What You’ll Do 

• Coordinate domestic and international inbound/outbound shipments 

• Track shipments daily, proactively manage delays, and communicate updates 

• Prepare and manage accurate customs documentation (invoices, declarations, packing lists) 

• Ensure compliance with trade regulations (HTS, COO, tariff updates) 

• Manage and assign logistics-related HubSpot tickets; handle critical and time-sensitive issues directly 

• Approve logistics invoices bi-weekly in Visio360; validate costs and investigate discrepancies 

• Monitor inventory levels and perform regular stock checks to ensure accuracy 

• Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, and customer service teams to align logistics flows 

• Contribute to logistics improvement projects focused on efficiency and cost optimization 

• Identify and implement process improvements within logistics operations 

• Build strong relationships with 3PLs, carriers, and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries 

• Support freight tenders and assist with carrier negotiations 

• Generate and analyze logistics reports and KPIs to identify trends and drive improvements 

• Support internal audits, training, and compliance initiatives 

What You’ll Need 

• 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, or related field 

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or equivalent practical experience 

• Expertise in international logistics and customs compliance and an understanding for cross-border trade requirements 

• A continuous improvement mindset, with familiarity in Lean principles and process optimization 

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights 

• Proficient with logistics and ERP tools (TMS, WMS, SAP or similar), Excel, and PowerPoint 

• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills 

• Fluent in English (other European languages are a plus) 

• Based in the Netherlands, with ability to work from our Amsterdam office and able to visit our Venlo warehouse occasionally.
