Maintenance Technician

For our Technical Services department in Zwolle, we are looking for a Maintenance Technician for the Filling department, working in a two-shift system.

What will you be doing?

You will independently and safely carry out all common preventive, corrective, modification, and new construction work on (electrical) and mechanical installations. This includes:

• Testing installations, reporting and confirming completion of work, and properly handing installations back over to the internal customer following corrective work, in line with the applicable handover procedure;
• Accurately recording all performed tasks;
• Supervising external contractors and monitoring their work execution (in terms of safety, quality, and productivity);
• Staying up to date on developments in your field, as well as changes in regulations, procedures, and instructions.
• Maintaining and keeping assigned installations, equipment, materials, and tools in good working condition.
• Training and coaching colleagues, operators, and team leaders.
• Actively participating in machine team meetings and meetings with the Technical Service work planner to share technical expertise.

The work is carried out in a two-shift system.

What do we expect from you?

• A technical vocational degree or equivalent working and thinking level;
• Knowledge and experience with mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems (or willingness to take relevant courses);
• Experience with quality and productivity improvement techniques;
• Strong analytical skills;
• Experience in the food industry (HACCP) is a plus;
• Good communication skills and the ability to give clear instructions;
• A hands-on mentality and a flexible attitude;
• Willingness to further develop through training and courses.
