Job Description - Manager Management -Technology and Service Desk

As Manager Management, Technology and Service Desk, you hierarchically lead a team of approximately 10 -12 employees (permanent and hired). You focus on performance, quality, safety and continuity of service. In addition, you improve the structure within the team and ensure that work is done compliantly and according to established processes.

You monitor operational progress, solve bottlenecks and contribute to the further professionalization of ICT services within a management organization. You are the point of contact for internal departments and maintain contacts with suppliers and contractors.

Tasks and responsibilities:
  • Hierarchical leadership of the Management, Technology and Service Desk team
  • Ensuring division of labor, planning, and prioritization
  • Conducting performance and assessment interviews
  • Stimulating development and craftsmanship within the team
  • Coaching the service desk coordinator
  • Managing the execution of management and maintenance tasks
  • Monitoring quality, safety and progress
  • Improving process control and working according to agreed working methods
  • Contributing to budget, cost control and efficiency
  • Providing input for policy, management plans and annual programmes
  • Maintaining contacts with internal departments and external suppliers
  • Handling notifications and escalations

Requirements

  • HBO working and thinking level
  • At least 1 year of recent experience in leading ICT implementation
  • Reference required
  • Experience with ITIL or ISM
  • Coaching leadership style
  • Experience with change assignments
