To strengthen our organization, we are currently looking for a Manager Planning who will drive and execute the logistics planning strategy for both locations.

Role overview and impact:

As Manager Planning, you oversee the entire planning department of both machine factories within Frencken Machining (Reuver and Eindhoven; approx. 8 FTE). You manage, coordinate, and optimize all planning activities from order intake to customer delivery, always aiming for the highest possible delivery reliability.

You are the owner of the planning processes and report directly to the Supply Chain Manager Frencken Machining.

What will you do:

• Lead, coach, and develop your planning team, including chairing daily management meetings and conducting performance and development reviews.
• Ensure stable, feasible, and reliable planning from order intake to customer delivery by safeguarding plan quality, validating forecasts, and translating them into actionable mid‑ and short‑term plans.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on key KPIs such as delivery reliability (OTIF) and forecast accuracy, and drive corrective or preventive actions where necessary.
• Continuously improve planning processes by initiating optimization initiatives, enhancing collaboration with adjacent departments, and harmonizing planning methods across both locations.
• Act as the final decision authority in planning conflicts, bottlenecks, and priority challenges to ensure operational flow and customer commitments.
• Maintain high‑quality procedures, work instructions, and documentation, while ensuring accurate planning and item master data in the ERP system.
• Collaborate closely with production planners, operational & tactical buyers, and the broader supply chain to support smooth, end‑to‑end operations.

What do we expect from you:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s working and thinking level, preferably in a technical environment.
• Demonstrable experience with forecasting, demand planning, production planning, and capacity management.
• Strong analytical skills with a data‑driven mindset.
• Coaching leadership style; ability to support and develop team members.
• Skilled in managing resistance in a production environment.
• Takes ownership and remains calm under pressure.
• Excellent command of English, Dutch is a strong plus.
• Experience with multi‑site planning is a plus.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Personal strengths: result‑driven, stress‑resistant, hands‑on, structured, and methodical.
