This is how you make an impact as a Manufacturing Industrialization Engineer

As a Manufacturing Industrialization Engineer, you develop tailored electronics manufacturing processes for challenging industrialization projects and integrate lean manufacturing principles into the product development lifecycle. You realize complex high tech assembly processes while ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards, working independently with limited supervision.

In this role, you represent industrialization within cross-functional teams and ensure a smooth transition from development to manufacturing. You align process requirements with product specifications and manufacturing criteria, making sure process capabilities meet all defined standards.

You drive  quality by applying lean principles and continuous improvement methods, focusing on modular and standardized solutions. These enable efficient processes throughout development and production, while maintaining quality and full regulatory compliance at every stage.

 

You are a part of a multi-functional team responsible for all manufacturing aspects of  innovative and high tech micro (opto)electronics assemblies. Customers range from leading OEMs to startups in the Semicon, Medical and Aerospace and Defense industry  In this role you will report to the Manager Process Development and collaborate with many other teams and internal and external stakeholders (Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Process development, IT, Sales, etc.).

This is wat you bring to the team

·       Bachelor’s / master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Science.

·       Minimum 2 years of experience with Bachelor's in areas such as Manufacturing/Operations environment, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Production Engineering, or Cost Engineering or equivalent.

·       Lean Six Sigma or equivalent (certified)

·       Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)

·       Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

·       Product Lifecycle Management

·       (Micro-)Electronics Manufacturing

·       Lean Manufacturing

·       Design for Manufacturing

·       Regulatory Compliance (ISO9001/ISO13485)

·       Manufacturing Process Development

·       Stakeholder Management

Job requirements

Your daily responsibilities include

·       Realize, validate and release manufacturing process flows..

·       Implements process development activities for mid-complexity projects.

·       Streamlines procedures and improves efficiency within defined project scopes.

·       Applies Design for Lean Manufacturing (DFLM) to process development.

·       Applies Advanced Product Quality Planning to full manufacturing process.

·       Aligns process and equipment capabilities with defined process requirements.

·       Translates product specifications into process-ready manufacturing steps.

·       Ensures manufacturing processes meet technical and operational standards.

·       Oversees complex process implementation and standardization.

·       Ensures compliance with QMS, safety, regulatory, environmental standards and local regulations.

·       Develops innovative solutions for diverse manufacturing process challenges.

·       Shares process development expertise within teams and peer groups.

·       Builds strong collaborations across industrialization and manufacturing teams.
