About The Role:
In the role of Mendix Developer you will be a key contributor to our digital transformation initiatives, responsible for the end-to-end development, implementation, and maintenance of robust and user-friendly Mendix Portal, which serves as the essential entry point for all Mendix Public Cloud customers empowering them to manage and operate their Mendix applications seamlessly.
You will translate complex business requirements into effective low-code solutions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure applications that enhance user experience and operational efficiency. You'll also work closely with different Cloud teams. Since everyone relies on each other, you'll help connect the dots, understand what other teams need, and make sure everything works together smoothly for our customers.
We're looking for you if...
- You have prior experience working with the Mendix platform, and want to improve it by working at the home of Mendix itself
- You know your way around forms, domain models, entities, microflows, transactions, non-persistent entities, etc
- Mendix security concepts like XPath constraints and user roles are second nature to you
- Have experience building custom integrations with web services and REST APIs
- Have experience working with Cloud technologies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions under pressure, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet tight deadlines
- Experience working in Agile environments, utilizing methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
- You're passionate about code quality and know how to lead by example: from clean commits to well thought-out unit and integration tests
Even better (but not essential!) if you have experience with...
- High code languages like Python or Java
- CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins or GitlabCI
- Hold a Mendix certification (e.g., Mendix Rapid Developer, Mendix Intermediate Developer)
You’ll help drive digital innovation by...
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions that meet business objectives
- Staying up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to incorporate them into the development roadmap of the backups service
