Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Murex Developer (MX Dev) with strong experience in financial instruments and Murex technologies, particularly in MxML configurations and Back Office operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a DevOps model with production support responsibilities and Agile team environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain MxML workflows/configurations to support trade lifecycle and back-office processing.

Provide production support for Murex Back Office processes including trade confirmation, settlement, and messaging.

Collaborate with Front Office, Back Office, and Middle Office teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Participate in the implementation of new financial products across asset classes like FX, MM, IRD.

Support DevOps practices by automating deployment and monitoring tasks.

Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.

Engage in incident management, root cause analysis, and long-term solution planning for recurring production issues.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong product knowledge across FX, Money Markets (MM), and Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD).

Deep understanding of Back Office operations such as confirmations, settlements, and SWIFT messaging.

Hands-on experience with MxML (Murex XML) configuration, workflows, and integration.

Proficient in production support with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with ability to work under pressure.

Nice to Have:

Exposure to Collateral Management module in Murex.

Experience with Datamart reporting configuration.

Basic skills in Unix shell scripting and SQL (for data queries and job automation).

Understanding of Murex batch and EOD processes.
