Job Description - New Facilities Coordinator (Energetics/Kinetics)

What You´ll Do

  • Manage projects for new site implementation from initiation through to handover and closure
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (operations, finance, procurement, engineering, health & safety) and external contractors
  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring projects remain within approved Capex limits
  • Track project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and relevant building/operational standards
  • Prepare regular status reports and present updates to senior management and stakeholders
  • Facilitate project meetings, maintain documentation, and ensure proper handover to operational teams
  • Support the procurement process, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier management

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field
  • 2-4 years of project management experience, preferably in construction, facility implementation, or Capex projects
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies and tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management software (MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar)
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Project management certification (CAPM, PMP, PRINCE2 Foundation, or equivalent), is a plus.
  • Experience with budget management and financial reporting, is a nice to have.
  • Basic knowledge of building systems, mechanical/electrical installations, or warehouse operations, is considered a plus.
  • Experience working with external contractors and managing vendor relationships, is considered a plus.
