Based in the Netherlands, this hybrid role (3 days per week on-site) offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, innovative environment where your expertise will directly contribute to the optimisation of power surplus and trading across multiple energy markets.

Responsibilities

As an Algorithmic Trader, you will:

• Develop and implement algorithmic trading strategies across imbalance and aFRR markets.


• Support the build-out of intraday trading infrastructure to enhance operational efficiency.


• Collaborate closely with a small, technical team comprising trading, engineering, and data science professionals.

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who possess:

• A strong quantitative and programming background, with the ability to build and implement trading algorithms.


• A genuine understanding of European power markets, with a preference for experience in the Netherlands and Belgium.


• The ability to thrive in a small, fast-paced team environment with a broad scope of responsibilities.

Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

• A base salary of €80,000-100,000


• A bonus structure that includes an extra month's salary.
