About the role
Cheshire Solutions is recruiting on behalf of an established FPSO owner/operator for a Cost Engineer based in the Netherlands. The successful candidate will support cost engineering activities on a major FPSO project, as well as other projects across the wider portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Support cost estimating, cost control and forecasting for a major FPSO project


• Provide cost engineering support to other projects within the portfolio


• Monitor budgets, commitments, change and cost trends, ensuring accurate and timely reporting


• Prepare cost reports for project management and senior stakeholders


• Work closely with project management, planning, procurement and commercial teams


• Apply cost engineering processes and standards consistently across projects

Requirements

• Proven cost engineering experience within oil & gas or offshore projects


• FPSO project experience is highly desirable


• Good understanding of estimating, cost control and forecasting methodologies


• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail


• Good communication skills, with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams


• Degree in engineering, quantity surveying or a related discipline preferred

Location and working arrangements
This role requires regular office attendance in the Netherlands.
