For our production location in Son, we are looking for an Operational Buyer.

Working closely with the procurement team, you will help identify the most effective solutions for our supply chain. You know how to make the impossible possible and ensure that supply chain challenges are aligned with the internal needs of our organization.
As an Operational Buyer, you will be part of a Category team consisting of Operational Buyers, a Category Buyer, and a Supplier Quality Engineer. The team will guide and train you so that you gain a solid understanding of our processes, way of working, and products.

We also ask for:
A vocational (MBO) education combined with several years of relevant work experience;
NEVI 1 certification or willingness to obtain it;
Affinity or experience with technical products;
Experience with ERP systems;
Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.

You are responsible for the operational management of your suppliers, which includes the following tasks:
Reviewing and processing purchase suggestions/forms into purchase orders in the ERP system, considering price, delivery time, and packaging unit;
Checking and processing order confirmations from suppliers in the ERP system;
Monitoring deliveries and suggesting alternative products/suppliers when needed;
Evaluating/rescheduling orders and adjusting priorities in consultation with planning;
Solving supply chain issues together with internal departments such as planning;
Communicating and following up on forecasts with suppliers;
Handling and preventing invoice discrepancies and quality issues;
Timely internal coordination with stakeholders in production, planning, and finance regarding disruptions and discrepancies;
Actively contributing to the professionalization of the department and independently participating in improvement projects;
Supporting the Category Buyer with escalations, price analyses, and parameter maintenance.
