As an Operations & Community Specialist intern (DACH), you will be working within the Operations department. Amberscript offers customers manual revised transcriptions, subtitles and translations, which is done by our global community of freelancers. You are in charge of managing the German, Austrian & Swiss market, with our freelancer community on one side and customer requests on the other. You will be working on our perfect platform to assign the jobs to the freelancers and make sure everything is delivered on time and of quality to the customers. You will also help the freelancer community grow and increase their engagement by designing webinars and preparing learning materials.

Ensure that 100% of the transcription & captions files in German language are delivered within 3 business days
Establish an engaged transcriber pool for the DACH region
Help to document and implement manual subtitles & translated subtitles processes
Support Operations Specialist in day-to-day tasks
Automate and streamline onboarding process for our freelancer community
Source and attract freelancers from the DACH region
Improve freelance retention and satisfaction, resulting in a tight knit community
Assisting the operations team to create communications for freelancers all around the globe (i.e. monthly newsletters, webinars, training sessions, etc.)
You are...
Studying at university level (NL: HBO or WO)
Interested in different languages and cultures
Passionate about startups and innovation
Strongly motivated to make an impact
A good coordinator, able to work with multiple people at the same time
Native German speaker and Fluent in English
Able to work in Amsterdam
