Operations Support Specialist (m/f/d) - Rotterdam

To support our endeavors, we are looking for an Operations Support Specialist (m/f/d) to join our Finished Vehicle Logistics Planning & Markets team for an unlimited period in Rotterdam, Botlek Port. We are searching for a flexible and reliable person to support our Team Leader in logistics planning and market operations. This is a varied, hands-on role focused on keeping things running smoothly — both behind the scenes and out on the ground.Operations

• Supporting the implementation of agreed procedures, following up on progress, and discussing corrective actions for damage and loss prevention with customers and suppliers
• Supporting project plans for new logistics concepts in line with customer requests
• Support with operational contracts
• Developing and improving processes, while identifying new business opportunities
• Daily operations
• Following up / Monitoring wholesales target

Business Relations

• Strengthening and building solid customer and supplier relationships
• Acting as liaison to the Team Leader, including communication with the customer and GEU HQ operations

Invoice Checking

• Reviewing invoices, cross-checking against delivery records and supplier agreements to ensure accuracy before approval

Office Support

• Supporting general office functions to keep things running efficiently, including handling communications and organising schedules  

 

About You

• HBO / Hoger Beroepsonderwijs or equivalent higher vocational education in a relevant field 
• 3+ years’ experience in supply chain operation or engineering mandatory
• Experience in customer relationship management an advantage 
• Language requirements: fluent in Dutch and English
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle, and willingness to travel
