About the Role

As an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in the private healthcare sector, you will diagnose and treat complex oral and facial conditions, focusing on surgical interventions that improve patient outcomes and quality of life. The role involves collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, utilizing cutting-edge techniques and equipment to perform procedures such as corrective jaw surgery, implantology, and reconstructive operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' medical and dental histories
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs and preferences
• Perform intricate surgical procedures including extractions, dental implants, orthognathic surgery, and trauma reconstruction
• Ensure high-quality post-operative care and follow-up
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams comprising dentists, anesthetists, and nursing staff for integrated care delivery
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to clinical governance and compliance standards
• Stay abreast of advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgery through continuous professional development

• Medical or Dental degree (MD, DMD, or DDS) with specialist qualification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
• Proven clinical experience within the private healthcare sector preferred
• Expertise in a broad range of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to delivering high standards of care and maintaining professional development
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Registration with relevant medical/dental regulatory bodies
