About the role


The People & Culture Manager EU/SWANA advices on HR policy and supports with implementing HR procedures and processes. The role works closely with organizational leadership to develop and direct an HR agenda that supports organizational goals, ensuring compliance and fostering employee engagement.



Purpose of the role



  • Develop and implement HR policies and frameworks to improve the employee cycle (recruitment, performance management, talent development and retention, wellbeing, employee engagement ea.)

  • Provide needed operational HR services

  • Provide guidance on employee relations and disciplinary processes.

  • Deliver HR data analytics and insights to support business decisions.

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable laws and regulations.

  • Support leadership in aligning HR strategies with organizational objectives.



Responsibilities and duties



  • Develop and monitor HR policies and procedures.

  • Draft HR frameworks and tools to improve the employee cycle.

  • Provide specialist advice on HR policies and resolve complex queries.

  • Be a sparring and business partner to support management meet their organizational needs and goals.

  • Manage employee relations cases.

  • Develop and test HR data collection tools and ensure data accuracy.

  • Analyze HR data to identify trends and create actionable insights.

  • Build effective internal client relationships and deliver high-quality HR operational services.

  • Participate in personal capability building and maintain professional accreditation.

  • HR Policy development and implementation.

  • HR data analytics and reporting.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Business insight and strategic alignment.

  • Decision-making and problem-solving.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Knowledge of HR frameworks and compliance requirements.

  • Accuracy and striving for high quality HR services.

  • Language skills: English. Second language Dutch, French and/or Arabic is an asset.



Education and experience



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level.

  • 3–6 years of experience in HR management or related fields, preferably in NL and/or SWANA

  • 1–3 years of managerial experience supervising HR-processes
