Job Description - Portfolio Planner

Portfolio Planner

Planning & managing – Review and keep the established schedule up to date

Insight & analysis – In collaboration with the portfolio manager, identifying risks, dependencies, and capacity bottlenecks

Advising – Substantiating choices regarding planning, capacity, and scenarios

Work distribution – Drawing up distribution lists and (re)allocating projects in collaboration with the portfolio manager

Coordination across the chain – One integrated project overview with Stedin, Evides, and contractors

Monitoring & Adjusting – Monitor progress and adjust based on deviations in collaboration with the project managers

Data & Reporting – Ensuring data quality and providing management information

You work closely with:

Project leaders and team leaders (operational level)

Portfolio manager (strategic level)

Contractors and supply chain partners (including Evides)

You operate at the tactical level (0–2 years) and translate strategic choices into an actionable plan, in consultation with the Portfolio Manager.

What to bring:

HBO working and thinking level (e.g. (technical) business administration, civil engineering)

At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably within an infrastructure/project environment.

Experience with:

Portfolio planning and project planning

Planning systems and data analysis

Knowledge of portfolio management, project management, and asset management

Competencies:

Strong analytical skills and structured

Connecting and collaboration-oriented

Result-oriented and decisive

Environmentally aware (stakeholder management)

Strong in planning and organization

Dutch and English are required on a professional level

Please note: a driver's license is a strict requirement for this position. Additionally, we are looking for someone who lives within (maximum half an hour's) of Rotterdam Rijnmond. In this role, you will be on the road frequently, traveling to locations in Heijnenoord, Delft, Goes, Ridderkerk, and Barendrecht.
