Process Operator

Job Description:

To strengthen our team, Penn Color International BV is looking for enthusiastic candidates for the position of:

Process Operator Thermoplastics / Packaging

Position Summary

The Process Operator sets up and operates a range of automatic and semi-automatic production equipment, including extrusion and packaging machinery. You are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing processes, including feeding raw materials, adjusting machine settings, performing minor troubleshooting, and removing finished products from the production line. You work based on process sheets and written or verbal instructions and ensure that all products meet predefined quality standards and tolerances.

The Role

In this role, you support the production of plastic masterbatches. Your responsibilities include:

• Preparing pre-mixes of raw materials

• Managing internal logistics to and from the extruders

• Operating extrusion equipment

• Supporting post-processing activities

• Packaging finished masterbatches for shipment to customers

• Performing basic maintenance and cleaning of machines

The work is carried out in a two-shift rotation:
06:00–14:30 / 13:30–22:00.

Your Profile

We are looking for an energetic and motivated professional with technical insight. You work efficiently, have a strong focus on quality, and value order and cleanliness in the workplace. You are a team player and communicate effectively.

You bring:

• Technical aptitude and hands-on mentality (preferably VAPRO-A)

• A proactive and quality-driven attitude

• Good command of English or Dutch

• Willingness to work in shift operations

What We Offer

• A fixed-term contract with the intention of a permanent position

• Salary starts from €2,860 gross per month (including 12% shift allowance) but also depends on experience and educational background (like VAPRO)

• 25 vacation days + 8 ADV days (based on a 40-hour workweek)
