You are the crucial bridge between our global procurement strategy and the day-to-day operational needs of our local manufacturing and R&D teams. You will lead a small team of Buyers, manage the local supply base, and ensure the timely and cost-effective flow of materials and services that keep our operations running. This is a leadership role for a hands-on procurement professional who excels at both people management and operational execution.

What You´ll Do

• Lead the Local Procurement Team: You will lead, mentor, and manage the performance of the in-country Buyer(s), fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee Site Procurement Operations: You will manage the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process for the site, ensuring compliance with global policies while meeting the dynamic needs of local stakeholders.
• Manage Local Supplier Performance: You will own the relationship and manage the performance (On-Time Delivery, Quality) of all key local suppliers, acting as the primary point of escalation for any supply issues.
• Drive Tactical Sourcing: You will execute tactical sourcing projects and negotiations for local spend, ensuring the best possible value for the company.
• Act as a Business Partner: You will be the primary procurement partner for the local Site and Operations leadership, ensuring their requirements are understood and met.

What You’ll Need

• Experience: 5-8+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain, with some experience leading or mentoring junior staff. Experience in a multi-site manufacturing environment is essential.
• Skills: A strong understanding of the end-to-end P2P process, good negotiation and supplier management skills, and high proficiency with ERP systems (MS Dynamics preferred).
• You must be fluent in English and the local language of the assigned country.
• Mindset: You are a hands-on "Player-Coach" who is adept at managing both people and processes. You thrive on ensuring operational excellence and are skilled at balancing central strategy with local needs.
