A bit more about your job

As a Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for all procurement related tasks in the Benelux region. Not only will you be responsible for developing strategic relationships with our suppliers but you will also be managing, pricing, and maintaining contracts, and taking care of all the logistics activities with our central warehouse partner. You will put in place SLA's (and follow up on these as contract manager) and negotiate best prices (and T&C's) in a rapidly growing market with increasing demand. You will be focused on the complete supply chain and procurement process and identify and evaluate possible bottlenecks in these while proactively looking for (and implementing) solutions. Where necessary you will explore new supplier markets and act on strategic opportunities found.

Last but not least you will act as the point of contact for all procurement related issues towards the Commodity buyer within Allego.

You are result driven and someone who thrives in a fast-changing environment. Obviously, you know your way in the procurement world and are able to make solid decisions that benefit our business. Furthermore, we operate in a young and rapidly expanding market, this means that your highly adaptive communication skills and creative thinking are more than welcome.

You have proven strong negotiation skills and are able to take initiative. You combine your attention for details with the ability to establish strong relationships with suppliers and teams within Allego.

While English is the default language within Allego, for this specific position we require you to be fluent also in the Dutch language. If you happen to speak German and/or French as well, that would be great.

Due to the nature of the position and the urgency we require applicants to have a EU working permit.
