Procurement Support Specialist I

Are you ready to support the procurement function behind a global leader in food processing technology?

JBT Marel is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Support Specialist to join our procurement team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining procurement master data, supporting sourcing activities, and ensuring the smooth execution of procurement processes across the business.

You will work closely with procurement professionals, supply chain teams, engineering stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure data accuracy, process compliance, and efficient procurement operations.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage procurement master data within ERP systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance
• Coordinate and manage the New Parts List (including spare parts) process, including part creation, classification, and ERP workflow administration
• Deliver data analysis and reporting to support sourcing strategies and procurement decision-making
• Provide administrative support for procurement activities, including the processing of one-time and first-time purchase orders
• Communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to coordinate order requirements and resolve procurement-related issues
• Prepare, maintain, and analyse reports on procurement performance, supplier activity, and purchasing trends
• Support compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing procurement efficiency and data quality
• Assist in preparing procurement reports, presentations, and documentation for management review
• Support procurement training activities and knowledge-sharing initiatives where required
• Maintain a proactive, customer-focused approach to ensure timely issue resolution and accurate documentation

You are highly organised, analytical, and detail-oriented. You enjoy working with data, systems, and cross-functional teams to improve processes and support business success. You are comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and service.

Experience & Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
• Experience in procurement, supply chain, purchasing support, or master data management is preferred
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, LN, Oracle, or similar
• Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel and reporting tools
• Understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and purchasing workflows
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams in an international environment is an advantage
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
