Product Manager

As a Product and Ingredient Manager you are responsible for the development, improvement and management of our current and future products and ingredient portfolio within Ausnutria. Youwill be the first point of contact for all product and ingredient related questions from our clients and business groups across the globe. You act as a linking pin between different departments, e.g. Product Development, Sales & Marketing and Operations. Therefore, you are creative and always look for a solution.

To be successful in this role, it is crucial that you are a team player with a strong ability to engage with internal colleagues as well as external customers and suppliers and have excellent stakeholder management skills. You know how to build positive work relationships. We’re looking for someone with inspirational behavior when interacting with colleagues and customers.

You are able to gather insights pro-actively and share them with our stakeholders. Furthermore, you have a ‘can do’ attitude, a solution-focused approach, and you strive for outstanding results.

We are looking for someone with a helicopter view but also the skills to do a deep dive. You will translate actions into a clear and easy-to-comprehend way for our stakeholders across the globe.

Function information:

You are responsible, together with the Product Management Lead and a team of ingredient and specification specialists, for the sustainable future growth of the assigned product category. You do this by:

• Managing current and future products and ingredients to ensure the product portfolio is compliant, up-to-date, and competitive.
• Monitor the customer and competitor landscape, and inform internal stakeholders of trends, changes, and risks.
• Translate insights from our competitive field and new ingredient developments into future product propositions.
• Managing and supporting projects by effective project management.
• Acting as a subject matter expert, identifying and resolving potential issues and providing detailed product support to our commercial teams.
• Escalating critical issues and roadblocks.

Our team

Our Product & Ingredient Management team is part of Ausnutria’s Global R&D department. The team is responsible for an up-to-date product & ingredient portfolio, including ingredient development and the design, full implementation, and maintenance of all specifications related to our portfolio.

You are the fit if

• You have a Master’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Food Technology, Innovation, Business, or a related field.
• You have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• You are a team player with flexible and excellent communication skills.
• You are strongly driven and highly energetic in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving business environment.
• You have effective time management and prioritization skills.
• You are a strategic and creative thinker.
• You speak excellent Dutch and English.
