About the role:
Our customers trust us with their most precious memories. The Customer Asset Storage (CAS) team looks after billions of photos and projects that form the heart of every product we create. We build the core capabilities like storage, identity, and AI features that allow the rest of the business to help customers engage with their memories.
As a Product Manager in this team, you will be at the center of our platform strategy. You won't just ship features yourself. Instead, you will build the reusable tools and APIs that teams like CRM, Marketing, and AI use to move faster. This role is vital to our future goals and helps us scale how we handle customer assets across the entire group.
How you embrace curiosity daily
- You own a specific part of the CAS roadmap from the first idea through to delivery and measurement.
You design reusable capabilities and APIs that multiple teams across Storio can use at scale.
You decide what belongs in our central platform and what should be built elsewhere in the stack.
You work closely with engineers to handle technical trade offs and keep delivery moving.
You run discovery sessions on new opportunities like social signup/login and AI asset use cases.
You push back constructively when teams want to build one-off solutions instead of using shared tools.
You partner with Legal and Customer Care teams to make sure we always handle customer data safely.
How you make your mark
- You create a roadmap that balances new customer value with technical health and platform stability.
You drive the adoption of CAS tools across the business by making them the easiest choice for other teams.
You translate deep technical decisions into clear outcomes for our customers and our commercial goals.
You break down silos by bringing different departments into the discovery process early.
You use data and usage metrics to prove the impact of the platform on the wider business.
- You help the business save costs by migrating to modern cloud infrastructure and retiring old systems.
What you bring to the team
- Experience as a Product Manager owning a product area through its full lifecycle.
A platform mindset with the ability to build tools that serve many different internal users.
The ability to speak confidently with engineers about APIs, events, and technical architecture.
A track record of working across different teams to get complicated projects finished.
Strong skills in using data and dashboards to make informed decisions and set priorities.
A focus on action and the ability to ship high quality work and iterate quickly.
What sets you apart
- You have built infrastructure or shared service products in a large scale environment.
You have experience with identity management, digital assets, or AI enabled products.
You hold a formal qualification in a field related to product or technology.
