Product Manager - Loyalty

Your new team 
As Product Manager – Loyalty, you will join a Customer & Digital team within EU&I Business Technology. In this role, you will shape the strategy, roadmap and delivery of digital loyalty experience across Ahold Delhaize’s European brands. The role entails leading a cross-functional product team using agile and Scrum ways of working. You will collaborate closely with business representatives of five brands, local IT teams and other platform teams.

Key focus areas of your role:

• Own the digital experience for loyalty and retention across app, web and kiosk (e.g. earn & burn, loyalty (personal) offers, gamification, stamps).


• Define the vision for loyalty that connects to the strategy of the department and Ahold Delhaize brands.  


• Define a clear roadmap of highly prioritized features and initiatives that deliver against that vision, balancing customer impact, business value, feasibility and viability. 


• Engage in user research, market and competitor analysis and assess new opportunities, innovations and potential third-party partnerships.


• Build strong relationships with business, IT, platform and regional stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment across strategic, tactical and operational levels.


• Lead and support cross-functional product teams, creating clarity around priorities, scope and ways of working while helping teams become increasingly self-organizing.


• Translate customer, business and tech needs into clear product requirements, features and epics, and work closely with development teams to maintain a healthy and prioritized backlog.


• Drive product delivery and successful launches, balancing business priorities with technical and operational needs while ensuring quality, compliance, security, privacy and relevant standards.


• Own the product lifecycle by monitoring business and technical performance, resolving delivery or production issues, supporting continuous improvement and ensuring the right balance between product value and cost.


• Work closely with architecture, research, design, data, and development teams to bring high-quality digital products to the market.


• Continuously improve digital products using data, experimentation, and A/B testing.

The ingredients you bring 
Everyone brings their unique flavor. We believe this role comes to life when you bring the following experience: 

• A Bachelor’s degree in Design, Technology, Business Studies, or a related field, combined with at least 5 years of experience in digital product environments.


• Proven experience in product management, including defining vision, strategy, and roadmaps. Experience in loyalty and B2C is a plus.


• Strong experience working with data and analytics to improve products and customer experiences.


• Hands-on experience with Agile and Scrum ways of working, preferably in scaled environments.


• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to align multiple brands and teams around shared priorities.


• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.


• A strong passion for improving customer experiences combined with solid business acumen.


• The ability to prioritize effectively, anticipate challenges, and make sound decisions in complex environments.
