Job Description - Product Owner (ID: 3934)

As a Product Owner, you will:

Manage and prioritize the AS400 application backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
Gather, define, and refine business and functional requirements for AS400 applications.
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, AS400 engineering teams, SAP teams, vendors, and leadership.
Provide day-to-day functional leadership to Agile delivery teams and support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the stability, performance, and reliability of the AS400 landscape.
Support issue resolution, change management, and production support activities.
Ensure product delivery meets business objectives while maintaining operational excellence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions using Agile methodologies.

What You Bring to the Table:

10+ years of experience in AS400 application support, product ownership, or related enterprise application roles.
Strong expertise in the AS400 technology stack and Product Ownership.
Experience managing product backlogs, defining requirements, and prioritizing work based on business value.
Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

You Should Possess the Ability to:

Translate business requirements into clear and actionable product backlog items.
Prioritize competing demands while balancing business and technical needs.
Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews.
Coordinate effectively with engineering, SAP, vendors, and business teams.
Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across AS400 applications.
Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and support timely resolutions.
Influence stakeholders and guide teams toward achieving business outcomes.
