Location: Nunhem, the Netherlands | 28-38 hours per week

At BASF | Nunhems, every seed matters. As a Production Administrator, you play a key role in ensuring our seed production processes run smoothly and accurately. From supporting production planning and administration to collaborating with growers and internal stakeholders, your work helps bring high-quality vegetable seeds to customers around the world.

In this role, you will:



  • Manage and maintain production-related administration throughout the production cycle.

  • Create, process, and monitor production contracts and production orders within our ERP systems.

  • Ensure accurate seed administration and support the smooth flow of information between departments.

  • Collect, verify, and process quality and production data to enable informed decision-making.

  • Support payment processing and invoicing activities related to production operations.

  • Collaborate closely with growers, suppliers, logistics teams, processing teams, and production specialists.

  • Identify administrative issues, resolve discrepancies, and contribute to continuous process improvements.

  • Help ensure reliable, efficient, and compliant production processes that support our global seed business.


 


Your Team


 


You will become part of an international Production team that works closely with colleagues across multiple disciplines. Collaboration is at the heart of how we operate. On a daily basis, you will work together with Production Specialists, Processing, Logistics, Quality Assurance, and external growers and partners.


 


The team combines local expertise with global collaboration, creating an environment where knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and mutual support are highly valued. You will report into the Production organization and contribute directly to delivering high-quality vegetable seed solutions to customers worldwide.


 


Your Profile


 


What knowledge and experience make you successful in this role?



  • MBO+ level education or a comparable combination of education and experience.

  • Experience in an administrative, operational, supply chain, production, or customer support environment is an advantage.

  • Affinity with digital systems and data administration.

  • Experience with ERP systems; SAP S/4HANA experience is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with data and processes.

  • Good communication skills in Dutch and/or English, both written and spoken.

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.

  • A temporary assignment through an external agency for an initial period of 6 months.

  • A competitive salary between €2,800 and €3,800 gross per month, depending on experience.
