Purchase Officer

About the vacancy: 

As a Purchase Officer at 3devo, reporting directly to the COO, you will be an integral part of the Operations team and enjoy significant freedom in your role. You will be responsible for the entire procurement process, from drafting purchase specifications to supplier selection, tendering, negotiations, contracting, and placing purchase orders. You will play a crucial role in the success of our projects by ensuring that the right materials are available on time and within budget. With a 'can-do' mentality, you are flexible in switching between strategic and operational tasks. Your goal is to achieve a smooth and profitable production process. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Negotiating with suppliers on prices, terms, and delivery schedules
• Collaborating closely with company coordinators to align procurement strategy with active goals
• Documenting administrative tasks such as RFQs, and POs
• Proactively seeking opportunities for cost savings and process improvements such as transportation
• Tracking planning and deliverables, keeping internal and external stakeholders informed

What we ask of you: 

• At least 2 years of proven experience in technical and tactical purchasing
• Experience in the technical sector is preferred
• Ability to negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers
• Proficiency in Excel and our ERP systems (preferably Odoo)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English – Dutch and Chinese is a plus
