Quality and Logistics Supplier Manager

Requirements

• Act as the Quality & Logistics representative within Supplier Account Teams for medium-complexity supplier accounts, characterized by factors such as product lifecycle phase, supplier capability and maturity, problem complexity, and escalation levels.
  


• Serve as a functional expert in Quality and Logistics, working closely with stakeholders across Sourcing & Procurement, Supplier Operations, Business Lines, Development & Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supplier organizations.
  


• Operate independently to resolve structural bottlenecks, improve supplier performance, and optimize quality and logistics processes while coaching others within the functional domain.
  


• Master’s degree with significant professional experience in Quality, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  


• Strong expertise in Quality and/or Logistics management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  


• Willingness to develop expertise across both Quality and Logistics domains where applicable.
  


• Build and maintain strong relationships with supplier stakeholders and internal partners at middle and senior management levels.
  


• Foster trust, transparency, and effective two-way communication to support long-term supplier collaboration.
  


• Monitor, review, and evaluate supplier performance across Quality and Logistics metrics.
  


• Identify performance gaps and drive improvement initiatives with suppliers across first-tier and N-tier supply chains.
  


• Escalate performance concerns to Quality & Logistics Management, Supplier Account Leaders (SAL), and supplier management when required.
  


• Organize and lead Supplier Operational Review Meetings, ensuring effective preparation and execution.
  


• Act as the primary point of contact for Quality and Logistics-related escalations, both internally and externally.
  


• Lead resolution activities for escalations impacting factory operations, field operations, and customer commitments.
  


• Drive supplier capability development in Quality and Logistics.
  


• Maintain and support mid-term capacity planning, quality roadmaps, and supplier growth plans.
  


• Ensure required actions and investments are identified and implemented to meet business requirements.
  


• Develop and implement supplier improvement programs aligned with organizational and category strategies.
  


• Assess supplier capability and maturity, identify gaps, and ensure Supplier Improvement Plans are established and executed.
  


• Drive supplier compliance with Quality and Logistics requirements.
  


• Provide supplier insights and recommendations to support category and sourcing strategies.
  


• Define Quality and Logistics requirements for supplier account plans, contracts, and New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives.
  


• Identify risks across multi-tier supply chains and drive appropriate mitigation actions.
  


• Support supply chain optimization through initiatives such as replenishment strategies, decoupling buffers, and supply chain resilience improvements.
