The Quality Technician team is responsible for supporting the manufacturing function with QA activities to ensure nonconforming products are not produced and shipped to customers. This position will assist with inspection and process improvements to sustain and improve product quality.

Responsibilities:

Provides audits and inspections on product quality according to Zebra’s quality-assurance processes
Conducts nonconforming materials investigation and may report to Zebra’s authorized vendors as appropriate
Escalates and/or engages management as required for assistance in addressing new or complex issues
Ability to understand specific technical requirements, delivering output following broad framework
Other research or related activities as deemed necessary
Acts as the on-site champion for implementing and sustaining global QMS processes
Conducts regular internal audits of processes and documentation to ensure they adhere to ISO 9001 standards
Training local personnel on quality procedures and acting as the primary quality resource for the site
Preparing the site for and acting as the primary point of contact during external ISO 9001 audits

Qualifications:

0-1 years of experience
Strong process adherence
Fluent level of English (written and verbal) as well as local language as applicable
Good understanding of Microsoft business applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-task environment
Solid professional work behaviors (attendance, teamwork, time management)
Attention to detail
