Release Train Engineer

• Organising, facilitating and continuously optimizing Release Train events such as PI planning and Inspect & Adapt.
  
• Supporting Product Management in monitoring the realization of features and capabilities using metrics.
  
• Controlling, escalating and monitoring risks and impediments within the Release Train.
  
• Facilitating economic decision -making by supporting estimation and translating features and capabilities into epics.
  
• Align with Product Management, Product Owners and stakeholders on strategy and execution.
  
• Collaborate within the Agile Portfolio Management Office on further maturing the Scaled Agile Way of Working.
  
• Coordinating the support of teams, including directing the deployment of Scrum Masters.
  
• Coaching leaders, teams and Scrum Masters in Lean -Agile principles and mindset.
  
• Stimulating collaboration between teams and system architects and engineering.
  
• Promote continuous improvement through Inspect & Adapt workshops and agile maturity assessments.
  

Requirements

• Minimum HBO working and thinking level.
  
• At least three years of demonstrable knowledge of SAFe and other scaling frameworks.
  
• At least three years of relevant work experience with Scaled Agile working in roles such as RTE, PDM or SPC.
  
• At least three years of experience in facilitating PI events and Scrum or Scrums.
  
• Minimum of three years of experience leading multiple ARTs or Solution Trains.
  
• In possession of a SAFe RTE certificate or SPC certificate.
  
• ​Native or bilingual in Dutch
  

• At least three years of experience with agile maturity assessments and Lean Portfolio Management.
  
• Experience with Agile planning tooling.
  
• Experience with organizational change processes.
  
• Experience with value -oriented working and value stream mapping.
  
• Knowledge of SAFe Lean Portfolio Management.
  
• Experience with coaching of managers, Product Management and System Architects.
