The team

Toyota Automated Logistics is a leading supplier of process automation solutions for warehouses, which seamlessly integrate innovative systems, intelligent software and life-cycle services. You will be part of the service team of Toyota Automated Logistics, which consist of 70 Motivated and enthusiastic colleagues. Our team delivers services to our customer Albert Heijn for a complex Store Pick solution (https://youtu.be/VelcUcdm4N0).

Your impact:

  • Drive the implementation and maturation of Lean principles and methodologies within Service Delivery, using Team Assurance as a key tool to embed a structured and sustainable continuous improvement approach.
  • Lead team of Process engineers enabling them to run Continuous Improvement Programs in close collaboration with customer and service team.
  • Collaborate with global counterparts to standardize ways of working, share best practices, and create a consistent and recognizable service approach.
     

How will you make impact?

  • Lead the team with a strong customer focus, driving process optimization and continuous improvement in line with jointly defined priorities and year plans.
  • Manage a multi-disciplinary team responsible for Continuous improvement and support Reliability engineering, meet and report KPIs/SLAs related to these services;
  • Motivate, coach and guide your team to grow both individually and collectively.
  • Own and drive the Service Improvement Roadmap, ensuring clear prioritization and a disciplined approach from intake to measurable benefit realization;
  • Develop and execute long-term strategies for the department, translating them into clear, actionable goals for your team;
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to address and resolve demand chain challenges;
  • Support warehousing domain requests related to our solutions, collaborate to work towards improved (and as far as possible standard) services;
  • Manage escalations with a solution-oriented mindset, collaborating with the team to implement effective resolutions;
  •  Act as an active member of the site management team, contributing to overall service performance and strategic direction.
     

What makes you a great fit?

  • Proven experience in Lean / Continuous Improvement / Operational Excellence roles. Experience in deploying Lean principles (not only running Lean projects);
  • ITIL and/or Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt certification is a pre;
  • Strong facilitating, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills, ability to manage conflicting priorities;
  • Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams or project scope is a pre;
  • Ability to operate effectively in a high-paced, customer-centric and 24/7 service environment, with a hands-on and pragmatic mindset;
  • Willingness to participate in a P1/P2 incident management standby rotation (1 week every 4 weeks);
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills, ability to understand both process-related and business-related challenges;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

This position offers a competitive salary range of €5600 to €7290 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
