We are seeking an exceptionally good Account Executive to join our team.
The impact of the role
Quantware is going through a phase of rapid growth and is looking for talent who can help us push our sales even further. We sell our technology (quantum processors (QPUs), amplifiers and foundry services) to a variety of customers; from research institutes and, to universities, to quantum startups, large commercial companies and government tendersgovernment initiatives. You will be responsible for hunting, developing and closing these deals (with deal sizes ranging from 5 to 8 figures).
Working with the BDR(s), you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end lead-to-deal lifecycle - setting the outbound sales strategy. You will be representing the company during events to engage with existing customers & partners and to build new relationships. You’ll actively contribute in gathering customer & product feedback to make our products better. You will have the opportunity to work on relevant areas such as pricing, product, and customer relationship management in a highly entrepreneurial setting. We expect our team members to take a lot of ownership - and you will get a lot of responsibility in return.
What are you going to do?
Achieve and exceed sales targets quarter on quarter
Hunt and close deals with customers
Develop and execute sales strategy for key geographies and customer segments
Deepen existing customer relationships and build new ones
Manage end to end sales pipeline
Work with Marketing, BDR, Customer Success & Partners to generate pipeline

You have obtained a Bachelor's degree (or higher).
You have at least 5 years of experience as an Account Executive in tech-sales and experience in hardware. If you worked within the semiconductor industry, that'd really be perfect!
You're the “Hunter” type - you have the ability to open up new markets and industries.
You have a scale up mindset: you're happy to be hands-on and to execute responsibilities company wide. Experience in working at Series-A to Series-C companies is a strong plus.
You're based in the Netherlands and are willing to travel.
